We close on our Virginia Beach house tomorrow. I am in crazy mode trying to get the house ready for the walk-thru. Thanks so much for praying for us. We found out on Saturday that we can stay in our house an extra month! Instead of moving out on November 20th and moving in with friends we can stay until December 20th. What a relief!
Because our house in Vegas is a foreclosure we keep running into problems. For instance, someone broke into the house and stole the water softener. When the water to the house got turned on it flooded the garage. Thankfully my real estate agent was there to save the day! Someone else tried to steal the water pump to our pool. They cut the cables, and messed it all up. Thankfully they weren't successful in stealing it! Apparently this is common in foreclosed properties. Hopefully it's not a reflection on the neighborhood.
Right now I'm waiting for a guy to reglaze my bathtubs (he's 2 hours late). I didn't even know that such a thing existed. They sand down your tub and repaint it so it looks new. This was one of our compromises with the buyer. $925 later the tubs will look like new...insane!
