I spent the whole day looking at houses. I found one that we are putting an offer on, but it's a short sale, so my agent isn't very optimistic. I am exhausted and frustrated. I found one I loved, but they went to contract while I was looking at it; how annoying!
I've never seen so many trashed houses; it's unbelievable.
The good news is that I am 100% confident that God will put us in the perfect house, in the perfect neighborhood and in the perfect school system!
Please pray for me. I leave tomorrow night at 10pm. Thanks!

Thanks for writing your thoughts as you begin this new journey to a city that needs Jesus. Your words serve as a source of encouragement for my wife (and me, yes, I admit to reading church planting wives, I guess it helps me understand what my wife might be thinking...) Anyway, we are having many of the same experiences that you are right now. We have also sold a house and are moving to Rhode Island in a few months to plant a church. Your thoughts on assessment were also interesting.
We are in the exact same situation. Been looking at houses in the Annapolis area for four weeks now, and have said the same things...how can people live in such a trashed house. Awful! But like you said, we can gain peace knowing God is in control of it all and has the perfect house for us all.- hopefully close to our meeting place and jobs as well.
