Update!

First of all, I want to apologize for my lack of blogging lately. Life is insane! I wanted to update you on a few things:

1. We've been throwing block parties in different communities throughout Las Vegas. Tons of people have come! It's a lot of work (we do two separate block parties a day), but it's totally worth it.

2. We had 3 mission teams come in this weekend to help us with the block parties. They were awesome! We passed out about 10,000 fliers for the block parties because of their help.

3. We started meeting at a hotel near the Strip on Sunday mornings and Monday nights. It's a great location and it's nice not to have to keep my house clean anymore! Ha!

4. I've been doing a lot of Pampered Chef shows. I'm meeting tons of people and making some money too!

5. I love my job at the gym. I'm building relationships with my co-workers and getting to know people in my neighborhood.

6. We've raised about half of the money we need for the new building. Go to www.verveventure.org for more information!

7. Beth Moore revised her "Breaking Free" study. This study has been life-changing for me; I led it 9 times at Forefront. I'm excited about the revision and am going through it with two friends. My goal is to start leading it again once Verve gets started.

Thanks for sticking with this blog, despite my lack of entries!!!

Congratulations on all of the celebration moments. I saw a promo for that Study. Wondered if this would be better to start with then the Esther one I was considering starting our women with.

Excited about the block parties and what all God is doing through you guys. Sounds like ya'll are making excellent contacts. I'm curious how dinner went with the guy at the gym and his wife. He had expressed some interest in discussing christianity or something something that led a discussion about getting together for dinner. I'm sorry if that's being pushy or personal. I just think it's awesome to see the contacts and I love watching how aggressive, strategic, patient and spirit led you guys are. I am curious and if I'm too curious I understand. Just tell me to mind my own business!
