Been looking at houses in the Annapolis area for four weeks now, and have said the same things...how can people live in such a trashed house. Awful! Your words serve as a source of encouragement for my wife (and me, yes, I admit to reading church planting wives, I guess it helps me understand what my wife might be thinking...) Anyway, we are having many of the same experiences that you are right now. We have also sold a house and are moving to Rhode Island in a few months to plant a church.
